About

Jada Rossman is a passionate urban planner dedicated to advancing equity, affordable housing, and community-led development. Jada centers her work on designing spaces with and by the people who live there. Her approach is rooted in deep engagement, cultural respect, and an unwavering belief that everyone deserves access to safe, stable, and dignified housing.

Jada served as a LEVEL guide with LEVEL: Equity Building, where she supported renters along their journey to homeownership. Her earlier work spans public health, community organizing, and nonprofit housing advocacy. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Jada is proficient in Spanish and brings a culturally competent lens to all aspects of her work. Whether she’s facilitating a listening session or helping shape local policy, Jada aims to uplift the voices of historically excluded communities and reimagine urban spaces as places of care, belonging, and opportunity.

Initial Fellowship Focus: The fellow will engage a wide range of stakeholders in identifying regulatory burdens and then leverage those relationships to advance a number of proposals with lawmakers and regulators at the state and local levels.
