About

Lexi is passionate about creating healthy, sustainable communities where both people and the planet can thrive. She is especially focused on shaping built environments that support chronic disease prevention, equitable food systems, and climate resilience. Lexi holds a Master of Public Health in nutrition from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in global and public health sciences from Cornell University.

Her experience spans both global and local public health. As a Rose Service Learning Fellow at Harvard, Lexi spent her summer in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, working with the Africa Academy for Public Health to conduct qualitative research on the role of school food vendors in improving adolescent access to nutritious and diverse foods. She also contributed to local food policy efforts during her time at the Boston Public Health Commission, where she led the creation of an internal nutrition policy agenda to support the health of Boston residents. Prior to graduate school, Lexi worked at an international nonprofit supporting nutrition data and information systems across East and West Africa.

Initial Fellowship Focus: The fellow will identify a sustainable, long-term funding mechanism and data-informed policy framework for a building decarbonization program.
