Stephen Serrao is a Master in Public Administration candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School. Before HKS, he served as a policy fellow in Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s Office of Transformation & Opportunity, where he advanced statewide economic development initiatives. Previously, he was strategic assistant to the CEO of BURN, a Nairobi-based clean cookstove enterprise, following his tenure as a vice president at Citigroup in New York.
Stephen earned a Master in Business Administration with distinction from The Wharton School, where he was a Philip J. Whitcome Fellow. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in general management with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Carnegie Mellon. Outside of work and school, he enjoys running, playing trumpet, trying innovative cocktails, and exploring new restaurants.
