About

Zoe Butler started her career as a public school teacher before moving into federal policy. She has worked on emerging technology policy at the U.S. Department of Commerce, supporting implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act and contributing to AI safety efforts at the U.S.AI Safety Institute.

Zoe holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Education from Lipscomb University, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and Africana studies from Brown University. Outside of work, she enjoys running, writing fiction, and playing folk music.
