About

Danni Kim is a social policy and government affairs professional from Australia. Before Harvard, Danni worked with the Australian Government in Canberra coordinating global education policies and international partnerships in the Asia Pacific region. She also oversaw national strategies to promote the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and their communities.

These experiences have led Danni to be fascinated by the interplay between all levels of government. She believes that whether the issue at hand is place-based or internationally significant, cross-sector and human-centered collaboration must be at the heart of any forward progress.

Danni holds a Master in Education focused on Human Development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of International Studies specializing in global development from the University of New South Wales (Sydney). She is an avid singer and lover of the performing arts. Her lifelong involvement in choirs, ensembles, and instrumental groups is an enduring source of community connection and personal well-being.

Initial Fellowship Focus: The fellow will help build regulatory-compliant data governance, integrate cross-departmental datasets, and create dashboards to track housing placements, service outcomes, and community impacts. These tools will inform funding and service strategies and support routine, transparent public reporting on the new model’s results.
